I'm kicking off 2014 by going down to a three day week at my day job. One of my workmates was shocked. "Don't they need you?" They kind of do. This was a downsize I requested to allow for more writing time. Here's why:
Along with all those new releases, I've committed to turning in four more books to Harlequin and I have some other surprises brewing, including some fun activity with The Healer, which I can't share just yet, but I'm excited.
It's not going on sale--sorry! So if you've been thinking about reading this one, please give it a go. It's not much of a departure from my other work. You'll still get your alpha males, complex emotions, angsty passion and my patented threads of humour. P.S., I'd love to see some reviews on this one. So far I've only found a few on Goodreads.
As you can see, I'm living my usual busy life. This scaling back of my hours is necessary to my health and sanity and is a baby step toward my dream of writing full time (with a sustainable income!) so I'm pretty excited.
Hopefully this change will also allow for more activity on this blog. I am quite diligent about posting on Sundays on my website blog. If you haven't been following my #SampleSunday posts you can read the excerpts from A Debt Paid In Passion here.

I have revisions to keep me busy through the weekend and I've signed up for two courses, one on planning a book launch--you know, because I have FIVE to worry about right now. I'm also gonna learn Photoshop Elements 12 and the website updates alone justify the need to make changes...
Loads of other goals for the year too, including a trip to Oz to see my sister and her family--it grew by one baby girl last year so I really must do a QC inspection.
